This week Mrs. McNeil`s Kindergarten class was invited to participate in a mindfulness morning with Mrs. Sandquist`s Grade 4 students.
The older students took on the role of leaders, demonstrating their calm morning routines, including sharing gratitude, using a sound cup, and playing chimes to create a peaceful atmosphere. They explained to the kindergarten students how they take time to breathe during their busy day to help them stay focused. Together, both classes also engaged in some breathing exercises. The kindergarten students took back some wonderful new practices that they will add to their daily routine. ๐
