Junior Kindergarten was full of energy and excitement when Senior School Science Teacher and Head of Science, Mr. Tessarolo, stopped by last spring with some hands‑on experiments, lab coats, and safety goggles.
Officially ready for Science 9, but maybe sticking around at the Junior School would be a little more fun for now. 😎

The SMUS Rising Leaders Camp brought together youth from around the world, who spent their summer break on campus for weeks of learning about leadership, communication, teamwork, and service.
From creating and leading their own workshops in small groups to taking on service projects, exploring Victoria, visiting Camp Barnard, and building friendships across cultures, the campers stepped outside their comfort zones and put their leadership skills into action for the 2 and 4 week long camps.
Set goals, then smash them. 🏐
Volleyball BC campers focused on skill development, game scenarios, teamwork, Volleyball IQ, and taking their game to the next level.
One of the best parts of overnight camp? Campers get to truly experience life at SMUS through boarding, roommates, and shared meals.
